Many years ago a Headmaster from Devon described his school's cruise with us as ‘the educational experience of a lifetime’. On every Voyage of Discovery we strive to achieve that goal and we are confident that the vast majority of the 100,000 passengers (both young and old) who have travelled with us on over 200 cruises since our programme began in 1984 would echo those words.
The many letters we receive from party leaders, parents and students highlight the variety of factors that make a Voyage of Discovery for schools so special: the fascinating places that we visit in the course of one memorable week, with up to six different ports of call in four different countries on three continents; the quality of the organisation, lectures and educational programme on board our specially chartered ship; the enjoyment that comes from being at sea together with young passengers from other schools from all over the UK and sometimes from abroad as well; the full and varied programme of entertainment that, after a full day of studying or exploring ashore, makes the evenings on board such fun.

Rest assured also that your child will be in safe hands. Our staff has vast experience of organising cruises and travelling to the fascinating countries that surround the Eastern Mediterranean and Red Sea. The majority of our overseas agents there have been known to us for many years.
Voyages of Discovery is a member of ABTA (the Association of British Travel Agents), the Passenger Shipping Association, AITO (the Association of Independent Tour Operators) and fully bonded with the Civil Aviation Authority under Air Travel Organiser's Licence number 3897. This licence ensures that all monies paid to us are fully protected.
